The objective of CASP3R is to promote & support a paradigm shift in online communications.

A shift away from centralized, top down control structures, toward a more bottom up, decentralized model based on individual ownership & a common language.

CASP3R intends to accomplish this through the release of a complete open source server package. The technical architecture of the server/client software is rooted in XMPP, and forms a decentralized mesh style network whose overall network strength is measured by the sum of its parts. A network whose power is derived from the individual.

This server package is designed to be implemented by everyday people, and requires little to no technical experience. CASP3R is modeled around a $60 Raspberry Pi mini server concept, that operates out of a home network in much the same way kids use a PlayStation for online gaming.
